RESOLUTION 7359 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA APPROVING LOCATION OF SIDEWALK ALONG RED OAK DRIVE SOUTH OF HILLVIEW ROAD IN THE 2009 - 2010 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7223 adopted by the City Council on Feb. 11, 2008, the Streets and Utilities Committee. was created; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 7245 adopted by the City Council on March 24, 2008, the members of the Streets and Utilities Committee were appointed; and WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted a number of resolutions approving various preliminary design issues for the 2009 - 2010 Street and Utility Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, on October 20, 2008 the Streets and Utilities Committee adopted an additional recommendation regarding the sidewalk location on Red Oak Drive south of Hillview Road; and WHEREAS, on November 3, 2008 the City Council discussed the recommendation of the Streets and Utilities Committee for the sidewalk location on Red Oak Drive south of Hillview Road. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: 1. Red Oak Drive from Hillview Road to County Road 10 as reconstructed under the 2009-2010 Street and Utility Improvement Project shall include the following: a. A 6.5-foot wide concrete sidewalk shall be constructed on the east side of Red Oak Drive. b. The sidewalk shall be adjacent to the back of curb. 2. All activities associated with the preparation and acquisition of temporary easements necessary for the construction of the sidewalk, which include discussions with property owners, appraisals, sketches, legal descriptions, and drafting of the easement document, are hereby authorized.
