RESOLUTION 7365 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUPPLEMENTAL SPRINGSTED WORK PLAN <br />TO CONDUCT A HAY POINT ANALYSIS AND PREPARE A COMPREHENSIVE <br />PAY PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has determined that a compensation <br />study and market analysis needs to be prepared and conducted pursuant to Chapter 3.01 <br />of the Personnel Manual; and, <br />WHEREAS, On June 9, 2008, the City Council approved Resolution 7281 <br />authorizing a work plan submitted by Springsted to conduct a compensation study and <br />market analysis; and, <br />WHEREAS, Springsted has completed the work authorized in Resolution 7281 <br />however it could not provide the City with a comprehensive Pay Plan due to deficiencies <br />with the HAY Points assigned to the City's positions; and, <br />WHEREAS, Springsted submitted a supplemental work plan dated November 2008 <br />to conduct a HAY Point analysis and prepare a comprehensive City pay plan; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the scope of work prepared by <br />Springsted and finds it to be consistent with its expectations. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />authorizes Springsted to conduct a HAY Point analysis and prepare a comprehensive Pay <br />Plan consistent with the attached work plan, at a cost not to exceed $4,800, plus expenses. <br />Adopted this 24th day of November, 2008. <br />```'-.s <br />Ro Marty, Mayor <br />ATTES`f: <br />James Ericson, Clerk-Administrat - <br />'•~seal) <br />
