RESOLUTION 7367 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZATION TO CONTRACT WITH COMCATE TO IMPLEMENT A CODE <br />ENFORCEMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND SERVICES AND FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF NECESSARY COMPUTER EQUIPMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View wants to implement a new code enforcement <br />management program to address its present and future code enforcement management <br />needs; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has received a contract proposal from Comcate to coordinate the <br />implementation and set-up of their Code Enforcement Manager (CEM) system; and, <br />WHEREAS, the implementation and system development requires the purchase of <br />additional software, computer equipment and supplies; and, <br />WHEREAS, the anticipated cost of the project would be up to $5,000 to be paid in <br />2009. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Mounds View City Council hereby <br />authorizes the Clerk-Administrator and the Mayor to execute a contract with Comcate for the <br />implementation of the Code Enforcement Manager (CEM) system in accordance with the <br />proposal and estimate dated November 5, 2008. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the 2009 City Budget shall be <br />increased to reflect the planned expenditure of $4,900 to purchase the CEM system from <br />Comcate and for the necessary computer equipment and supplies from the Community <br />Development Budget as follows: Fund 100-4180-3030 - $2,500 <br />Fund 100-4180-3100 - $600 <br />Fund 100-4180-1600 - $500 <br />Fund 100-4180-7030 - $1,300 <br />Adopted this 24th day of November, 2008. <br />~,~ <br />Rob arty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />~ ~~ <br />James Ericson, City Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
