The Mounds View Vision <br />A Thriving Desirable Community <br /> <br />Item 08D <br />December 9, 2019 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />At its November 21st meeting, the PRF Commission reviewed all applications and <br />recommended appointing Cindy Palm and Colleen Sullivan. The Commission also <br />recommended Mary Zaiger be appointed to fill the seat for resigning member Dale Aukee. <br /> <br />Planning Commission: (One Seat Open) <br />Staff has received one appointment application for the Planning Commission; Gary <br />Rundle. Mr. Rundle is currently serving on the Planning Commission and is requesting <br />to renew his term. Mr. Rundle has been serving on the Planning Commission since <br />January 2009. The Planning Commission at its December 4th meeting recommended <br />the reappointment of Gary Rundle to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />I would also like to note that Mary Zaiger, who was appointed to the PRF Commission <br />to fill the seat of a resigning Commissioner, noted that the Planning Commission would <br />be her second choice. <br /> <br />Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal: N/A <br /> <br />Financial Impact: None <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 9193 approving appointments to the <br />EDC, PRF and Planning Commissions.
