<br />The Mounds View Vision <br />A Thriving Desirable Community <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9210 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE FINAL PAYMENT FOR THE 2019 STREET RECONSTRUCTION <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved the 2019 Street Rehabilitation Project and <br />awarded the project to North Valley Inc. of Nowthen MN; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, North Valley Inc. completed all project construction and met all other <br />contract requirements for the project with the substantial a completion date of August 9, <br />2019 and a final construction cost of $673,185.09; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Staff and its engineering consultant, Stantec Consulting Services, <br />recommend accepting the completed construction work and issuing final payment for <br />$16,667.06 to North Valley Inc.; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, North Valley Inc, has not submitted the final paper work at this time, <br />Staff will hold the final check until all paper work is turned into the City. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. Accepts work completed under the contract between the City and North Valley Inc, <br />for the 2019 Street Rehabilitation project. <br /> <br />2. The Finance Director is authorized to issue final payment for $16,667.06 to North <br />Valley Inc, for completing construction of the project. <br /> <br />3. Staff will release the final check after all necessary final paper according to the <br />contract is turned in. <br /> <br />Adopted this 9th day of December, 2019 <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br />Carol A.
