Mounds View City Council November 25, 2019 <br />Regular Meeting Page 2 <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller inquired if the library still had a weekly story time. Mr. Lowry reported the 1 <br />children’s story time was held on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and a baby story time was held at 2 <br />9:45 a.m. on Fridays. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Finance Director Beer recommended Mr. Lowry work with the Cable provider to do a PSA to 5 <br />describe all of the great services the public library provides. The Council supported this 6 <br />recommendation. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Council Member Meehlhause commented on the new Adult Americans Academy and thanked 9 <br />Mr. Lowry for participating in this program. 10 <br /> 11 <br /> B. Resolution 9191, Appreciation to Teresa Muckala for her Service on the 12 <br />Economic Development Commission. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Mayor Mueller read a Resolution of Appreciation thanking Teresa Muckala for her years of 15 <br />dedicated service to the City of Mounds View on the Economic Development Commission. 16 <br /> 17 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9191, 18 <br />Appreciation to Teresa Muckala for her Service on the Economic Development Commission. 19 <br /> 20 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 21 <br /> 22 <br />5. CONSENT AGENDA 23 <br />A. Approval of Minutes: November 12, 2019. 24 <br />B. Just and Correct Claims. 25 <br />C. Resolution 9192, Approving the Recording Secretary Service Agreement 26 <br />Amendment with Minute Maker Secretarial (formerly TimeSaver OffSite 27 <br />Secretarial, Inc.). 28 <br /> 29 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Bergeron. Ordinance 969 – First Reading, Amending Chapter 900, Sump Pump 39 <br />Discharge and Water Meter Ownership/Installation. 40 <br /> 41 <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council introduce an Ordinance that would amend 42 <br />Chapter 900 of City Code regarding Sump Pump Discharge and water meter 43 <br />ownership/installation. He reviewed an updated Ordinance with the Council and commented on 44 <br />the program the City would be undertaking to install new water meters throughout the City of 45
