<br />RESOLUTION NO. 9205 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR STEVE MENARD, DEPUTY POLICE CHIEF <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Steve Menard has retired as Deputy Police Chief for the City of Mounds <br />View; his last day of employment was November 27, 2019; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual, Mr. Menard is <br />required to contribute 100% of his vacation hours to the Retirement Health Savings Plan and <br />65% of his sick leave hours will be deposited into his Retirement Health Savings Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Menard’s balance of accrued and unused vacation is 436.06 hours and <br />his sick leave balance is 704.76 hours; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Menard’s rate of pay upon resignation was $54.24 per hour. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves <br />severance to Steve Menard consistent with the Section 3.47 and 3.45 of the Mounds View <br />Personnel Manual as follows: <br /> <br /> Hours Hourly rate Payout <br />Vacation Hours 436.06 $54.24 $ 23,651.89 Into RHSP <br />65% of Sick Leave 458.09 $54.24 $ 24,846.80 into RHSP <br />Total Severance: $ 48,498.69 <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 9th day of December, 2019. <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Carol A.
