Finance Director Beer 9 <br />reported staff was proposing a cost of living adjustment that was consistent to the adjustments 10 <br />that have been made for the past 15 years. He stated 3% was being offered to remain in 11 <br />alignment with the percentage that was offered to union and non-union employees. 12 <br /> 13 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. Public Hearing: Resolution 9195, Authorizing the Draft 2040 Comprehensive 29 <br />Plan to be submitted to the Metropolitan Council for review. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Community Development Director Sevald requested the Council authorize the draft 2040 32 <br />Comprehensive Plan to be submitted to the Met Council for review. He reported the City was 33 <br />required to update its Comprehensive Plan every 10 years. He discussed the purpose of the 34 <br />Comprehensive Plan and how it was used as a guiding document for the City. He requested the 35 <br />Council hold a public hearing and authorize staff to submit the Comprehensive Plan to the Met 36 <br />Council. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Mayor Mueller opened the public hearing at 6:39 p.m. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Mueller closed the public hearing at 6:39 p.m. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Council Member Bergeron asked if the zoning designation for the Skyline Motel property had 43 <br />been adjusted. Community Development Director Sevald stated this has not been done, but 44 <br />would be done after Council approval this evening. 45
