In adtlilion, suspected hazartlous trees in City <br />right-of-way or park lands shoultl also be reponed. The contlition of the reponed Tree will be <br />evaluated and any remedial action pursued. <br />The City Is responsible to maintain trees on public properly (right-of-way, parks, grounds) and <br />abatement ortlers for diseased Trees (tlulch elm, oak will) On private property. Residents shoultl <br />contact a cenifietl allonst or forester for (heir private properly tree concerns or issues other than <br />suspected diseasetl elm, oak or ash Irees. A listing of licensed tree contractors Is available from <br />the City. <br />The Clly of Mounds View contains thousands of diverse trees, inGuding mature slantls of red and <br />white oaks, hardwood maples, elms, ash, and gowedng uabapple to name a few. The Forestry <br />Ddivision is responsible to manage this tree stock to ensure a healthy, atlracgve, and safe urban <br />forest now and for future generations.
