ROLL CALL: Arel, Aukee, Katovich, Kroeger, Kunz, Rundle, <br />Staff: Peterson <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion Dale, 2nd John, Pass 6-0 <br />4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion Dale, 2nd John, Pass 6-0 <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT - None <br /> <br />6. STAFF REPORTS <br />A. YMCA – Thomas discussed Youth in Government, Teen Leadership Club, Registration open <br />for summer programs, and Rally Day – March 3rd. Coach of the Year nominations are due by <br />Feb 28. The Community Center will be closed for cleaning March 12th- 18th. Dale asked about <br />Music in the parks and possible addition of Food Trucks. Blaze Soccer has inquired about <br />widening the field at Silver View, but after some discussion it was decided that would not be a <br />good idea. <br />B. Public Works / Forestry – Don reported on current works for the Staff, including Flooding of <br />rinks, Snow Removal, tree trimming, and the move to the new Public Works Facility. Also noted <br />was the continued work by the County on the drainage ditch in Silver View Park, and continued <br />progress on the renovation at Random Park. <br /> <br />7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />A. Forestry – City Parks, and Green Spaces – We had much discussion on the wording of the <br />new Forestry guidelines, and in the end decided we really need to focus on Goals rather than <br />wording. <br />B. Greenfield / Groveland tennis courts – Current plan is one court, centered between the lights. <br /> <br />8. NEW BUSINESS: Coach of the Year <br /> <br />9. COMMISSIONER REPORTS - None <br /> <br />10. REQUESTS FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS / OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT 7:44 Motion Dale, 2nd Steve.
