RESOLUTION 9226 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MISCELLANOUS DONATIONS FOR 2019 <br />WHEREAS, MN Statute 465.03 requires cities to accept donations by resolution; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City received a cash donation during 2019 in support of <br />advertising for the Festival in the Park and a Community Center website update of $8,501; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City received several K9 donations during 2019 totaling $1,425; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City received a miscellaneous donation for park trees during 2019 <br />totaling $50; and <br />WHEREAS, the City received miscellaneous donations for the "Shop with a Cop" <br />event totaling $4,540. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />gratefully acknowledges and accepts the miscellaneous donations of $14,516 from <br />several donors for 2019. <br />Adopted this 27th day of January, 2020 <br />Carol A.
