RESOLUTION NO. 9227 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AMENDING SECTION 3.20(D) OF THE PERSONNEL MANUAL TO INCREASE THE <br />AMOUNT OF SICK LEAVE ALLOWED TO BE CONVERTED FOR HEALTH CLUB <br />DUES <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted and amends from time to time a <br />personnel manual; and <br />WHEREAS, section 3.20 D provides employees the opportunity to convert sick <br />leave time to cash for the specific purpose of paying health club membership dues; and <br />WHEREAS, that amount is set at $55 per month with the proposal to increase the <br />amount to $75 per month; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a strategic plan that strives to provide <br />competitive salary and benefits to attract and retain qualified employees; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been many years since the City Council last increased the <br />conversion amount. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, does hereby amend section 3.20(D) of the personnel manual to increase <br />the sick leave conversion to health club dues by $20 per month for a total of $75 per <br />month. <br />Adopted this 27th day of January, 2020. <br />e� & e A lu-e-&'-4�. <br />Carol A.
