RESOLUTION 9232 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) PORTABLE BASKETBALL HOOPS FOR <br />THE COMMUNITY CENTER. <br />WHEREAS, Staff has met with the YMCA Staff members regarding replacement <br />of the two portable basketball hoops in the Community Center gym; and <br />WHEREAS, the City 2020 operating budget has the replacement of the basketball <br />hoops included; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has received two quotes for the basketball hoops from Anthem <br />sports and BSN Sports; and <br />WHEREAS, the low quote was from BSN Sports for $15,749.47 for two (2) portable <br />basketball hoops including shipping; and <br />WHEREAS, the purchase will be funded from the Special Project Budget account <br />480-4180-7050 which includes $15,000 for the purchase of basketball hoops; and <br />WHEREAS, a budget adjustment of $749.74 will be need to cover the shipping <br />costs of the basketball hoops. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. Approves the quote from BSN Sports of Dallas, Texas to replace the 2 portable <br />basketball hoops at a cost of $15,749.47 to be funded from account 480-4180- <br />7050, Special Projects budget and approves a budget adjustment of $749.70 <br />to cover the cost of shipping. <br />2.
