The Mounds View Vision <br />A Thriving Desirable Community <br /> <br /> <br />Item No: 6B <br />Meeting Date: November 25, 2019 <br />Type of Business: EDA Business <br />Administrator Review: ____ <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: EDA President and Commissioners <br />From: Brian Beeman, Assistant City Administrator <br />Item Title/Subject: 19-EDA-333 A Resolution Approving a Loan Servicing Contract <br />with the Center for Energy and Environment (CEE) <br /> <br />Introduction: <br />Greater Minnesota Housing Corporation (GMHC) used to process the Mounds View EDA loan <br />programs. GMHC dissolved and the Mounds View EDA contracted with the Center for Energy <br />and Environment (CEE). The Community Reinvestment Fund (CRF) serviced the loans for <br />GMHC. CEE now offers a full loan servicing program eliminating the need to have CRF manage <br />the loans. Therefore, staff requested that CEE provide their servicing agreement. <br /> <br />Discussion: <br />Hear and update from CEE on the loan servicing agreements and ask any questions as needed. <br /> <br />Strategic Plan Strategy/Goal: <br />Create and maintain a positive business climate where businesses want to locate and remain in <br />Mounds View. Maximize utilization of development space and current redevelopment sites. Fill <br />vacant space and support redevelopment & development.
