RESOLUTION NO. 4656 <br />�+ CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION CANVASSING ELECTION RESULTS OF <br />NOVEMBER 8, 1994 GENERAL ELECTION <br />Whereas, a general election was held on November 8, 1994; and <br />Whereas, the results of this election are as follows: <br />MAYOR <br />Jerry Linke <br />Sherie Roder <br />Phyllis Blanchard <br />Richard Oman <br />COUNCILMEMBER <br />Sue Hankner <br />Diane Wuori <br />Dan Nelson <br />Lee Trotta <br />Julie Trude <br />Leon Burton <br />CITY CHARTER AMENDMENT <br />Yes <br />No <br />PRECINCT 1 TOTAL <br />1991 <br />477 <br />638 <br />970 <br />1547 <br />782 <br />1118 <br />831 <br />1960 <br />900 <br />2927 <br />1016 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Jerry Linke is certified <br />as being elected Mayor of the City of Mounds View and Sue Hankner <br />and Julie Trude have been elected Councilmembers of the City of <br />Mounds View. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED section 4.02 of the Mounds View <br />City Charter has been Amended to add the following provisions. <br />Subdivision 2. Term Limits. Notwithstanding any other provision of <br />law to the contrary, no person may file to be a candidate for <br />election to a term that would cause the person to serve more than <br />eight total years in the office of Mayor or in the offices of City <br />Councilmember combined. Subdivision 3. Service before January 1, <br />1995 shall not could toward determining total length of services. <br />Subdivision 4. Severability. If any part of this section shall be <br />declared unconstitutional by court, all other shall remain in full <br />force and effect. <br />
