RESOLUTION 7380 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RESULTS OF THE SPRINGSTED <br />SUPPLEMENTAL SALARY COMPENSATION STUDY AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />PREPARATION OF THE 2009 COMPREHENSIVE PAY PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has determined that a compensation <br />study and market analysis needs to be prepared and conducted pursuant to Chapter 3.01 <br />of the Personnel Manual; and, <br />WHEREAS, On June 9, 2008, the City Council approved Resolution 7281 <br />authorizing a work plan submitted by Springsted to conduct a compensation study and <br />market analysis; and, <br />WHEREAS, On November 24, 2008, the City Council approved Resolution 7365 <br />authorizing a supplemental work plan with Springsted to review job descriptions and <br />conduct a HAY Point analysis; and, <br />WHEREAS, Springsted completed the supplemental work and provided staff with a <br />proposed and actual wage table, a summary table of HAY point revisions, a regression <br />analysis resulting in a line of best fit and predicted pay, and a comprehensive 2009 pay <br />plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council accepts <br />the Springsted HAY Point analysis and authorizes the implementation of the <br />comprehensive 2009 Pay Plan which incorporates a maximum 2%wage adjustmentforthe <br />indicated positions, effective January 1, 2009. <br />Adopted this 22nd day of December, 2008. <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />~~d <br />James Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
