RESOLUTION NO. 7384 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW OFFICIAL 2009 MEETING <br />CALENDAR FOR THE CITY COUNCIL <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 412.191 requires that City Councils set an official calendar <br />for Council Meetings; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's Charter states that the City Council shall meet regularly at least <br />twice monthly as they may designate by ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 105 of the Mounds View City Code states that regular meetings of the <br />City Council shall be held on the second and fourth Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m.; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has traditionally scheduled Work Sessions on the first Monday <br />of the month; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's Code further state that if that Monday is a legal holiday the meeting <br />shall be canceled or held on another date and time; and <br />WHEREAS, May 25, 2009 (Memorial Day), falls on a Monday that would otherwise be <br />a regular scheduled Council Meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, September 7, 2009 (Labor Day) falls on a Monday that would otherwise <br />be a regularly scheduled Work Session meeting; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Code, these meetings dates have been <br />rescheduled to May 26, 2009, and September 8, 2009. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does hereby <br />establish the Official City of Mounds View City Council Meeting Calendar for the year 2009 as <br />shown in Exhibit A and that unless otherwise posted, all City Council meetings are to begin at 7:00 <br />pm. <br />Adopte his 22nd day of December, 2008. <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: ~ ~ l/Y~.1 ~.~'~'.~~~~~ <br />Jim Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
