1008.10 <br />1008.10 (Rev. 1/08) <br />e. No permit shall be granted for the location of any ground sign having a sign area of <br />more than forty (40) square feet within one hundred feet (100') of any single-family <br />residence. (Ord. 679, 5-29-01) <br />f. Notwithstanding the provisions of Subdivision 6 of this Section (1008.10, Subd. 6), no <br />more than one (1) pole or pylon sign shall be allowed per lot. However, the ground sign <br />area allowance may be divided between one (1) pole or pylon sign and a monument sign or <br />between multiple monument signs, subject to the requirements herein, provided that one (1) <br />or more of the following conditions are applicable: (Ord. 679, 5-29-01; Ord. 769, 5-8-06) <br />(1) The lot abuts multiple street right-of--ways, in which case a sign may be located <br />along each frontage. (Ord. 679, 5-29-01) <br />(2) There are multiple curb cuts or driveways accessing the property, in which case a <br />sign may be located near each access point or driveway, provided the signs are separated <br />by no less than two hundred feet (200'). (Ord. 679, 5-29-01) <br />(3) The width of the lot, as measured along its longest street frontage, exceeds two <br />hundred and fifty feet (250'), in which case multiple signs may be located along the long <br />frontage provided such signs are separated by no less than two hundred feet (200'). (Ord. <br />679, 5-29-01) <br />(4) The property or properties are within an approved Planned Unit Development <br />(PUD). (Ord. 679, 5-29-01) <br />Subd. 2. Wall Signs: The following standards shall be maintained for all wall signs: (Ord. 679, <br />5-29-01) <br />a. No wall sign shall have a projection over a private sidewalk or an established building <br />line of more than twelve inches (12"). (Ord. 679, 5-29-01) <br />b. The wall sign area allowances as indicated in Section 1008.08, subdivision 2 for B-2, B- <br />3, B-4 and I-1 zoning districts are per building occupant. (Ord. 679, 5-29-01) <br />c. The wall sign area allowances as indicated in Section 1008.08, subdivision 2 for the R-3, <br />R-4, PF and CRP zoning districts are per building. (Ord. 679, 5-29-01) <br />d. In the R-0 and B-1 zoning districts, the area allowance, as indicated in Section 1008.08, <br />subdivision 2, reflects the combined area for all wall, ground and projection signage on that <br />lot.
