RESOLUTION 7387 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE CODE <br />VIOLATIONS AT 8379 RED OAK DRIVE, MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA, 55112. <br />WHEREAS, the Norbert Moe Estate and Ann M Moe are the owners of property located <br />at 8379 Red Oak Drive, zoned R-1, Single Family Residential, legally described as follows: <br />MOE HOMESTEAD ADDITION LOT 9 BLOCK 1 <br />PIN 06-30-23-12-0103 <br />WHEREAS, on November 5, 2008, staff inspected the property located at 8379 Red Oak <br />Drive in response to information received regarding exterior accumulations of junk and debris; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a notice of violation was issued to Ann Moe dated November 5, 2008. Staff <br />requested corrective actions completed to bring the property into compliance with Sections <br />607.06 Subd. 2c (1) and 607.03 Subd. 3c of the Nuisance Code by November 30, 2008; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 1, 2008 staff performed a follow up inspection of the property <br />at 8379 Red Oak Drive to verify corrective actions were completed and found that conditions had <br />not been completed; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 4, 2008 Administrative Citations were issued to Ann Moe for <br />violations of City Code remaining in existence at 8379 Red Oak Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, in a letter dated December 4, 2008, staff notified Ann Moe of its intent to <br />appear before the Mounds View City Council on December 22, 2008 to request authorization to <br />abate violations cited in the Notice of Violation dated date; and <br />WHEREAS, on December 22, 2008 the City council tabled action on this item for 30 <br />days; and <br />WHEREAS, on January 20, 2009 staff performed a reinspection of the property at 8379 <br />Red Oak Drive and observed that items had been relocated behind a temporary fence; and <br />WHEREAS Ann Moe is responsible for maintaining Nuisance Code violations on the <br />exterior of the above-said property that include, but are not limited to: <br />1. Accumulation of tires, automotive parts and components. <br />2. Accumulation of junk and debris. <br />3. Accumulation of rusting metal and inoperable/unusable equipment. <br />4. Accumulation of household furnishings and appliances. <br />
