To Appoint Council Member Al Hull as Acting Mayor 11 for 2020. 12 13 Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 14 15 Mayor Mueller questioned which newspaper the Council would like to select as the City’s 16 official newspaper for 2020. 17 18 Council Member Gunn recommended the Pioneer Press be the secondary newspaper for the City 19 given their overall coverage of the City. 20 21 Council Member Hull suggested the Shoreview Press serve as the City’s primary newspaper for 22 2020. 23 24 MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Hull. To Select the Shoreview Press as the City’s Primary 25 Newspaper for 2020 with the Secondary Newspaper being the Pioneer Press. 26 27 Council Member Meehlhause asked if selecting a primary and secondary newspaper was a State 28 requirement. City Attorney Riggs reported this was the case. 29 30 Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 31 32 MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause.
