Fire Protection Service Contract <br />ARTICLE 10 <br />Benefit <br />Page 7 <br />This contract shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the successor of the Cities <br />and the Fire Department. In the event the Joint Powers Agreement between the Cities is <br />terminated, negated or no longer in force, each of the Cities shall become a party to a separate <br />agreement with the Fire Department on the same terms and conditions as the then existing <br />Contract to Furnish Fire Protection Service between the Cities and the Fire Department. <br />ARTICLE I I <br />Notices <br />Any notice required or permitted to be given under this contract shall be given in writing, <br />and shall be sent by mail to the registered address of the Fire Department, the Administrative <br />Committee or the Cities. <br />ARTICLE 12 <br />Choice of Law <br />The provisions of this contract shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State <br />of Minnesota. <br />ARTICLE 13 <br />Headings and Captions <br />The headings and captions of the paragraphs and articles of this contract are inserted for <br />convenience or references only and shall not constitute a part hereof. <br />ARTICLE 14 <br />Entire A reement <br />This contract contains the entire understanding between the Cities and the Fire Depart- <br />ment concerning the subject matter hereof, and the provisions applicable thereto cannot be <br />amended, altered, enlarged, supplemented, abridged, modified, extended, or waived except in <br />writing duly signed by all the parties hereto. <br />ARTICLE 15 <br />Counterparts <br />This contract may be executed in counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an original, <br />but all of which shall constitute one and the same instrument. <br />-7- <br />
