Public Input - Citizens are encouraged to speak to the Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commissioners <br />on issues of concern. <br /> <br />4. Introduction- Of new Public Works Director, Nick Debar. <br /> <br />5. YMCA Update: Prindle: <br /> <br />6. Unfinished Business: <br />a. Music-in-the-Park: <br />Discuss sponsors and permit. What is our next step? <br /> <br /> b. Ball field fencing improvements. <br /> Status on cost/bids? <br /> Silver View bases and pitching pad? <br /> <br />c. Contribution from Bethlehem Baptist Church. <br /> The City Council accepted the payment distribution for the BBC funds, which include the following <br /> relevant expenditures: <br /> Trail way project (benches, lighting, landscaping) $2,000 <br /> Backstop & Fence at Silver View Park $1,800 <br /> Landscaping around the Co. Rd 10 gateway signs $1,000 <br /> MVCC Audio / Video needs $1,001 <br /> <br />d. Mounds View Coach of the Year Award. <br />Palm contacted Jennifer Holmes and this year’s recipient to attend the Town Hall Meeting. <br /> <br />e. Questions to pose for Town Hall Meeting survey. April 25th 9-12 at MVCC <br />None specific to pose. Commissioners should plan to attend the Town Hall meeting and be at the table <br />with the video showing, facility guides, list of email addresses, note cards to “leave a question or comment <br />for the Commission” Finalize at April meeting. <br /> <br /> f. Possible Farmer’s Market? Idea discussed at EDC meeting <br /> Commission reviewed the staff reports. Possible locations Silver View, City Hall, MVCC parking lot <br /> Possible tie-in with Music-in-the-Park nights <br /> Continue to follow-up with EDC <br /> <br />6. New Business: <br /> a. Oakwood/Greenfield Trail way: <br /> Staff met with Tree Trust representative for trail way enhancement: If there is something the Commission <br /> envisions for this trail way, we can work with Tree Trust this summer. Ideas? <br />
