September 23, 2010 Meeting Minutes: Motion to approve by Long, 2nd by Aukee. <br />Motion Passed 6-0 <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br />Citizens may speak to issues not on tonight’s agenda. Before speaking, please give your full name <br />and address. Please limit your comments to three minutes. No residents in attendance. <br />6. YMCA UPDATE <br />A. Program Updates: <br />Introduction of Ashley Burke – New Senior Youth Coordinator, Club Mid and other activities <br />Fall Family Fun Day – Saturday, October 30th <br />Cookies with Santa – December 11th, 12:30-2:00 $5 for the family <br />Winter Programs are available now in the Mounds View Matters <br />7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />A. Discuss Lambert Park Facilities Layout / On-Street Parking <br />1. Items Discussed: <br /> Layout of park amenities discussed <br /> New building moved toward the street <br /> Create perpendicular parking for 24 spaces; including 1 handicap and 1 additional space <br /> Shift fence line of ball field inside (southeast) to shorten infield. Have to move fencing; <br /> Keep full hockey rink and playground outline <br />2. Recommendations to be provided to the Streets & Utilities Committee joint meeting on <br />November 1st <br />B. Review/Discuss Trail & Sidewalk Plan <br />1. Commission to recommend a sub-committee during the council work session <br />8. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Review Presentation for city Council Work Session on November 1 <br />1. Commissioners provided input on items to present <br />2. Presentation items to add include ice rink staffing and trails & sidewalk sub-committee
