M E M O R A N D U MM E M O R A N D U MM E M O R A N D U MM E M O R A N D U M TO: PARKS AND RECREATION AND FORESTRY COMMISSIONERS FROM: NICK DEBAR | PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR DATE: JANUARY 27, 2011 RE: DISCUSS PROPOSED INTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS TO RANDOM PARK BUILDING The City was recently approached by the Lions Club with a suggestion to modify the floor plan in the Random Park building. For the most part, the building is an open floor plan. However, a small room exists In the northwest corner of the building that was previously used as an office for the golf course manager. The Lions have suggested that the City consider knocking down the interior partition wall to open this office space into the main room. A representative from the Lions Club is expected to be in attendance at tonight’s meeting to answer any questions that the Commissioners may have. If Commissioners agree that this is an improvement worth pursuing, City staff will bring the recommendation to the City Council. ITEM NO. 9B
