Summer Parks Program- Registrations are being taken as we <br />speak and residents should act fast….numbers are shaping up <br />nicely…. Time is running out… sign up fast! <br />b. Summer Ball Programs- Registration is complete and numbers <br />are at an all time hight….. <br />c. TEEN NIGHT- Friday June 10th from 6:30-9:30pm at the Mounds <br />view Community Center. 6th-9th Graders are invited. Dancing, <br />Music, Obstacle course, Dodgeball, games, Xbox, Rock Band, <br />Teen Center tours and More… $5 at the door, $3 if you pre-register <br />at the Mounds View Community Center. <br /> <br />2. Facility Usage <br />a. Event Center- The Event Center usage is crazy right now…. We <br />have multiple bookings every weekend until September and plenty <br />of weekday bookings with school events, team events, corporate <br />events, etc…. <br /> <br />3. Music in the Park <br />a. June 16th- North Suburban Concert Band <br />b. July 21st – Good Timin’ <br />c. August 18th- Russell Schmidt <br />d. Start time 6:30pm this year <br /> <br />4. Staffing News <br />a. Leah Benson will be coming on board on June 1st as our new <br />Events Coordinator. Leah has years of experience in coordinating <br />events and in the customer service arena as well. Leah looks <br />forward to continuing the tradition of great customer service, event <br />variety and customer retention at the Mounds View Community <br />Center event center.. <br /> <br />
