ROLL CALL: Kunz, Aukee, Kroeger, Peterson | Staff: Dazenski <br />3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Motion to approve by Aukee, 2nd by Peterson. <br />Motion Passed 4-0 <br />4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. June 24, 2010 Meeting Minutes: Motion to approve by Kunz, 2nd by Kroeger. Motion <br />Passed 4-0 <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br />Citizens may speak to issues not on tonight’s agenda. Before speaking, please give your full name <br />and address. Please limit your comments to three minutes. No Public Input <br />6. YMCA UPDATE <br />A. Program Updates: <br />Current Programming Notes – Summer parks program registration is filling up and residents <br />are encouraged to register quickly. Summer ball program registration is at an all time high. <br />Teen night will be Friday June 10th at MVCC. <br />B. Facility Usage – The event center is busy and there are multiple bookings every weekend <br />until September. Many weekday bookings as well. <br />C. Music In the Park – Starts at 6:30 on the 3rd Thursday of each month at City Hall Park <br />1. June 16th – North Suburban Concert Band <br />2. July 21st – Good Timin’ <br />3. August 18th – Russell Schmidt <br />D. Staffing News – Leah Benson will be coming on June 1st as the new Events Coordinator. <br /> <br />7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />A. Review/Recommend Final Design & Options for New Lambert Park Building <br />1. Kathryn Poore-Larson from TKDA presented the proposal for the new building including <br />a variety of options. <br /> Motion Made by Peterson, 2nd by Kunz to recommend the following to city council: <br />Use the building layout proposed by TKDA with the following changes from what <br />was done at Groveland. <br />1. Install premium asphalt shingles <br />2. Use burnished block masonry and CMU painting <br />3. Use sacrificial/semi-perm graffiti resistant treatment <br />4. Install 4 HM Door & Frame, exterior 2 with ½ inch safety glass <br />5. Install 4’ 4” windows
