<br />8. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Recommend Ice Skating Rink Locations and Hours for 2011-2012: Reviewed rink usage. <br />Motion by Palm, 2nd by Arel to recommend flooding and warming Groveland. Keep <br />building closed during the week unless MVCC uses it for skating lessons or if it’s <br />rented by a private party. Staff by MVCC on weekends and during Winter Break. <br />(Weekends include days MV School District is closed to students (i.e. MLK Day and <br />Presidents’ Day). Motion Passed 5-0. <br /> Post hours at buildings, on website, and in MVMatters. Have two sets of hours at Hillview <br /> and Lambert: one for school days 4-9 PM, the other for weekends and breaks 12-8 PM. <br /> Motion by Palm, 2nd by Kunz to have Hillview and Lambert days of operation as <br /> weeknights, weekends, and Winter Break. (Weekends include days MV School <br /> District is closed to students (i.e. MLK Day and Presidents’ Day). Motion Passed 5-0. <br /> Recommend weeknights 4-9 PM, weekend hours 12-8PM. Winter Break and MV <br /> School District days off 12-8PM. <br />9. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Commission Members: Pinewood Fall Parade 10/28 at 2:45. Lambert Park <br />Building coming along. Will have to wait on field repair until spring. Rick Wriskey was <br />planting saplings at Arden Park! <br />B. Reports of City Staff: Finished aerating and fall fertilizing. Drop in vandalism. Working on <br />leaf removal and pulling up items for winter (batting cage, tennis and volleyball nets, etc.). <br />Sidewalk improvements at MVCC. BBC donation recommends $4500 for Lambert Park <br />Shelter Furniture Improvements. <br />10. REQUESTS FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS / OTHER BUSINESS <br />A.
