ROLL CALL: Commissioners: Kunz, Palm, Kroeger, Aukee, Peterson, Arel, Long <br /> Staff: Dazenski | YMCA: Danielson <br />3. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br />A. Oath of Office for Commission Member Long <br />4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Motion by Palm to approve, 2nd by Peterson. Motion Passed 7-0 <br />5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. March 22, 2012 Meeting Minutes. Corrected one spelling error. Motion by Kroeger, 2nd by <br />Arel. Motion Passed 7-0 <br />6. PUBLIC INPUT <br />Citizens may speak to issues not on tonight’s agenda. Before speaking, please give your full <br />name and address. Please limit your comments to three minutes. No residents present. <br />7. YMCA REPORT <br />Spring 2 Session is underway with arts, sports and fitness classes. Summer leagues for youth <br />and adults registration deadline April 27th. Summer Park Program has room in half-day <br />program. Play days in the park still has room 9am-12pm. Adult sand volleyball league B and C <br />levels open for registrations in mid-May. Will have summer swimming lessons offered. Even <br />Center has lots of bookings. Music-in-the-Park ready to go for June (North Suburban Band), <br />July (Ken Lehm and Friends), and August (Teddy Bear Band). Building will have work done on <br />roof and carpeting. Summer hours starting May 29th. Dance recital May 4th. May 5: Pitch, hit, <br />and run event. <br />Request staff to find status for BBC contribution history and current donation for May <br />meeting. <br />8. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />A. Discuss Trailway and Sidewalk System Plan: <br />Consider researching county roads and plans from Ramsey County. Research possible <br />land ownership regarding adding trailways to connect what is existing on city property. <br />Prioritize inner-city needs that can be filled along with maps to identify gaps and timelines <br />recommendations. Send trailway ideas to Planning and Zoning Commission as well as <br />communication with Street and Utilities Committee to coordinate with upcoming projects. <br />Submit changes or edits to Peterson and Kroeger by May 11th.
