What special circumstances make the nominees’ coaching outstanding or above and beyond? <br />Dana helped each player become better while also making sure everyone quit equal playing time. Also made it <br />fun, had sense of humor, always demonstrated good sportsmanship win or loose players wanted to keep <br />playing, made my daughter feel special and like she had place on the team, even if not the best player. Always <br />cheering everyone on verbal pats on the back. 1)Even if other coaches (outside MV) showed bad <br />sportsmanship, he stayed cool and went on with game without further drama. Corrected player if showing bad <br />sportsmanship focused on playing their best and improving not winning. 2) Worked on skills at practices that <br />made for improvement lead players to be supportive of each other no matter what skill level 3) Always <br />smiling, finding humor, other there running with players. Had good re pore with all parents, never expected <br />anything in return, but with team had given him small token of appreciation. 4) had relationship with each <br />player. Invested in them learning. Pointed out to them what doing well and kindly demonstrated things they <br />could do to improve. His spunky cheering wife, also made game more fund and encouraged parented to <br />participate. <br />7. What special circumstances make the nominees’ coaching outstanding or above and beyond? <br />James and Amber were willing to hold optional additional practices and extended practices for those who <br />could attend. They taught specific skills and worked with the strength of the participants on the team as well as <br />help them improve in other areas. <br />7. Share any additional information about the nominee you would like considered: <br />Very upbeat, positive, and encouraging. Knew names of kids right away and were active and involved in the <br />practices. They don't coach from the sidelines during practice, they coach on the field with the kids; running as <br />much as, if not more than the kids! Everybody wants to be on their team every season. They are requested! <br />
