APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Motion to approve by Palm, 2nd by Kunz with removal of Item 4A <br />since no minutes are available. Motion Passed 8-0. <br />4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. September 25, 2014 Meeting-No minutes present. <br />B. November 20, 2014 Meeting: Motion to approve by Arel, 2nd by Long, Motion Passed 8-0. <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br />Citizens may speak to issues not on tonight’s agenda. Before speaking, please give your full <br />name and address. Please limit your comments to three minutes. No residents present. <br />6. STAFF REPORTS <br />A. YMCA: See attached report for 2014 program summary. 2015 program registration will <br />connect with YMCA registration to expand user base. Event Center, gym, park building and <br />field rentals are all up. <br />B. Public Works: Nick DeBar has resigned. Rinks are being flooded to open 12/18. Will get a <br />new disc golf course designer for Silver View to consult. City Council approved trail design <br />for City Hall Park. Picnic tables installed at Silver View. Furniture ordered for Random. <br />Working on new HVAC units for MVCC for energy audit savings and new LED lighting <br />along County Road 10 trailway with energy savings program on a 10-year payback plan. <br />7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />A. Review Groveland Park 2015 Improvements: $226,275 breakdown: <br />Move tennis court: $76K <br />New fence posts around court (use existing chain link/fabric): $34K <br />New Playground: $39K <br />Building Improvements: Sidewalks up to building, concrete apron around building, signs, <br />painting, lights, furniture: $25K <br />Ball field improvements-done in-house with maintenance dept: $5K <br />Irrigation: $45K <br />Are there guidelines for fencing around a tennis court? Can we decrease the space around <br />the court between the lined court and the fence? Should we keep the half-court for <br />basketball? Lift station improvements will require changes to the tennis court. Can we split <br />the irrigation into segments? Take the benefits that we can by coordinating with the street <br />project. <br />
