CALL TO ORDER at 6:33 PM <br />2. ROLL CALL: Commissioners: Arel, Aukee, Katovich, Kroeger, Kunz, Long, Palm, Rundle <br /> Staff: Peterson | YMCA: Danielson *to be absent <br />3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Motion to approve by Palm, 2nd by Kroeger. Motion passed 6-0 <br />4. SPECIAL BUSINESS <br />A. Reappointment Oath for Gerald Arel, David Long, and Dale Aukee by Peterson <br />B. New Appointment Oath for Steve Roste by Peterson <br />5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. December 18, 2014: Motion to approve by Kunz 2nd by Kroeger. Motion Passed 7-0. <br />6. PUBLIC INPUT <br />Citizens may speak to issues not on tonight’s agenda. Before speaking, please give your full <br />name and address. Please limit your comments to three minutes. No residents present. <br />7. STAFF REPORTS <br />A. YMCA: See report. VB league running great! Teen Leaders Club is going strong. <br /> AOA programming has 83% renewals for 2015. Looking at once a month field trips for <br /> senior residents. Event Center revenue is up, Fitness Center usage is up, Gym rental <br /> revenue is up, park building rental is up compared to this time last year. Field requests <br /> need to be reserved by 2/1/2015. Use similar field request system for soccer fields as we <br /> use for baseball fields. Good ice rink usage at Hillview and Lambert. <br /> Several organizations have hosted garage sale events at some park buildings. Area cities <br /> do not have a policy for this, other than Shoreview who does not allow sales at park <br /> buildings. Direct Staff to propose a policy to include damage deposit, leaving items in <br /> building overnight/liability, and cost for February meeting. <br /> <br />B. Public Works: See report. Hillview rink lights are out due to a short in wiring issue. Fix <br />circuit in spring. Looking for another disc golf designer for Silverview. City Council approved <br />trail rehabilitation. Energy Savings Partnership program approved by City Council to provide <br />upgrades to MVCC RTUs, lighting, 40KW solar panels. MCES is planning a sewer pipe <br />project this summer impacting the Greenfield trailway at the northwest corner of Quincy and <br />Hillview. Count Road H sidewalk on indefinite hold depending upon Ramsey County and <br />ISD 621. <br />
