ROLL CALL: <br />Commissioners: Arel, Aukee, Katovich, Kroeger, Kunz, Long, Palm, Rundle, Roste <br /> Staff: Erickson, Peterson | YMCA: Danielson *to be absent <br />3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Motion to approve by Palm, 2nd by Long. Motion Passed 7-0 <br />4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Motion by Kunz, 2nd by Rundle. Motion Passed 7-0 <br />A. November 19, 2015 <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br />Citizens may speak to issues not on tonight’s agenda. Before speaking, please give your full <br />name and address. Please limit your comments to three minutes. No residents present. <br />6. STAFF REPORTS <br />A. YMCA: See attached report. <br />B. Public Works: See attached report. No ice rinks yet due to weather. Need to consider <br />maintenance of brush around pond at Woodcrest Park. <br />7. UNFINISHED BUSINES <br />A. Groveland Park –continue review, 2015 Improvements: Painting inside now, and pricing <br />carpeting to come out of BBC funds. Playground is done. PARK IS CLOSED because work <br />still needs to be done in the spring. <br />B. Hillview Hockey Rink – continue discussion of layout, rink light repairs: No updates. Still <br />waiting for pricing from contractor. <br />C. City Hall Park - continue discussion on splash pad, playground, picnic area and shelters, <br />rest rooms, changing areas. No updates. Still waiting on layout and cost options as well as <br />funding sources. <br />8. NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Appoint Chair and Vice Chair for 2016 Commission Meetings: Motion by Kroeger, 2nd by <br />Long to recommend appointment of Aukee as Chair, and Arel as Vice Chair. Motion <br />Passed 7-0. Palm will continue as Secretary. <br /> <br />B. Random Park Building improvements: Needs interior and exterior work. Estimated budget <br />$20K out of Park Dedication Fund. Could work on inside during winter and outside <br />spring/summer. Direct Staff to get final pricing to bring back to the Commission. <br /> <br />C. Greenfield Park Judicial Ditch 5 - re-profile work plans - Rice Creek Water Shed District: No <br />updates. <br />
