Public Works Staff Report <br />3/3 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CSAH 10 Trail Segments #6 & #11: <br />• Scope: Construction of trail segments between Red Oak Drive and Groveland Road <br />(Segment #6) and between Woodale Drive and Edgewood Drive (Segment #11). <br />• Budget: $627,000 ($39,300 cost share with Ramsey County) (Street Improvement Fund). <br />• Construction underway. Northwest Asphalt has paved the trails, electrical sub has <br />completed light base and pole installation wiring is nearly complete. Curb cuts and <br />pavement repair at intersections is complete. Anticipate lighting completion in December <br />(dependent upon Xcel timelines). <br />• Contractor working to complete the electrical for trail lights. Tie in locations were changed <br />requiring additional wire and trenching <br /> <br />Community Center: <br />ESP program: Financing has been approved and paper work in the process of being reviewed and <br />signed, the entire project will be completed by the end of August 2015. Staff is continuing to <br />receive quotes for the remodel project for the Community Center Offices and Prep-Kitchen. ESP <br />project to start early August and through October. Project completed. <br /> <br />Greenfield Park: <br />RCWD ARJD#1 Project: Rice Creek Watershed District is planning the re-profiling and repair of <br />Anoka-Ramsey Judicial Ditch No. 1 which runs through Greenfield Park. Also included is Branch <br />No. 5 which is located behind the baseball outfield and crosses below the parking lot entrance. <br />Staff will be meeting with RCWSD to inquire the status of this work. <br />• RCWD has the goal of completing this project this year, but may wait until colder weather <br />for work to commence. <br />• Staff has been trying to get an updated timeline for the project from RCWD <br /> <br />Other: <br />MCES Sewer Interceptor Project: Metropolitan Council Environmental Services is planning to <br />improve a large diameter sewer pipe at the northwest corner of Quincy and Hillview. MCES is <br />finalizing construction plans and have been reviewed by engineering division, comments returned <br />to MCES. MCES still planning on a 2015 project. Some trees have been tagged in order to be <br />transplanted in other City Parks. Project still scheduled to start later this spring. The work on the <br />meter station near the intersection of Quincy and Hillview has been delayed due to heavy rains <br />and flooding in September. Contractor is having to clean out the interceptor again due to heavy <br />sediment deposits in the line. Work will continue through the winter. A March closure of Quincy <br />Street to the north of Hillview is in place and Quincy will likely continue until late April. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
