Monday afternoon, March 27, I walked to the side <br />of your backyard along the fence at Hillview Park, to the beginning <br />of the drainage swale. If you remember, this day was our first 67 <br />degree spring thaw. I saw a small pool of water in your backyard <br />at the southwest corner. Leaves, twigs, grass and dirt had clogged <br />along the fence forming a dam. I took a stick and cleared the <br />debris and the water began to quickly flow through giving me the <br />indication that the swale was working. The water was easily seen <br />with the naked eye to be flowing towards the culvert on Hillview <br />Road. I think that the clogging at the fence can be a problem <br />easily solved if both you and the city crew remember to clear any <br />debris that may collect when we observe pooling. <br />All of our parks are a muddy mess <br />up a bit, we will be in to seed <br />volleyball court, picnic area, <br />scheduled to occur this summer. <br />right now.
