Since children don't always watch out for themselves, Fibar came up with a way to do it for them ... the Fibar Svslcm. The Fibar System Is Efficient The Fibar System, which is scientifically engineered, incorporates three layers of material ... wood fibers, geotextile fabric and stone. The top layer, Fibar wood fiber—which serves as the playing surface—is an amalgam of processed wood fibers, selected for longevity, fibrous qualities and durability. The middle layer, Fibarfelt, acts as a selective barrier to keep the wood liber on the surface while allowing water to flow quickly to the stone layer below. The stone is a natural drainage system, so the playground surface stays dry, even after a heavy rain. It lasts at least twice as long as bark mulches, pine nuggets and cocoa shell mulch. It's more resilient than sand and pea gravel. It's far less expensive than synthetic surfaces.
