MEMO TO: MAYOR AND COUNCIL <br />- FROM: MARY SAARION, DIRECTOR <br />PARKS, RECREATION AND FORESTRY <br />DATE: SEPTEMBER 13, 1989 <br />SUBJECT: REQUEST APPROVAL DATE FOR PRESENTATION OF SILVER VIEW <br />PARK POND STUDY BY ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALTIES <br />Environmental Specialties has concluded their year-long study of Silver View Park <br />pond. They are now prepared to present their findings and propose their <br />recommendations to the City. <br />Staff recommends that Environmental Specialties be given the opportunity to present <br />their study results and recommendations at the regular council meeting on Monday, <br />October 23, 1989. <br />Staff recommends that community -wide publicity regarding this be initiated so that <br />residents who are interested can attend this meeting or tune into the cable TV <br />telecast. <br />MS/SL <br />
