This is a chance to gain insight into the
communities desires and interests for both recreational programming and park
improvements. I suggest that each Commissioner contemplate and write down ten
questions which you would like to see on the survey. These can then be reviewed by
the Commission. With brainstorming and review, we can mold a number of questions
which will be designed to gain the information we need to know for successful
programming and park improvement.
I would especially like to suggest that Commissioners think of specific questions
reflecting these three issues:
Improvements at Silver View Park.
- Desires for recreation programming.
General park improvements.
Of course, other questions regarding other issues in parks and recreation are welcome
also.
I'll have the coffee brewing for this meeting, since I hope we can have a lot of
brainstorming and discussion going on in an effort to develop excellent survey
questions.
If you have a chance , drive by Hillview Park. Four large pine trees have been
transplanted, three along the northeastern border along Long Lake Road and one in
front of the park building. Smaller deciduous trees are being transplanted around the
picruc area.
