MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />ROLL CALL <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />October 26, 1989 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />Council Chambers <br />6:30 p.m. <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m. by <br />Chairperson Wayne Burmeister. <br />Commissioners present: Burmeister, Long, Silvis, <br />Starr and Stevenson. <br />Commissioners absent: Trettel <br />Councilmember present: Quick <br />Staff present: Director Saarion, Administrative <br />Assistant Linke. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Silvis, <br />seconded by Commissioner Long to approve the <br />September 28, 1989 minutes as written. Motion <br />passed unanimously 4 ayes, 0 nayes. <br />CHAIRPERSON'S REPORT Chairperson Burmeister reported that installation of a <br />sand volleyball court at Lakeside Park is nearly <br />complete. Projects which the Spring Lake Park Lions <br />have tentatively planned for Lakeside Park are the <br />relocation of the ballfield, new ag lime, new benches <br />and a new backstop. <br />COUNCILMEMBEWS REPORT None <br />AGENDA ADDITIONS None <br />DISCUSSION OF <br />SURVEY QUESTIONS Director Saarion requested input from the <br />Commission regarding possible questions for the <br />community survey. <br />
