0
Memo To
:Mary Saarion,
Director of Parks and
Recreation
From
:Ric Minetor,
City Engineer/Director
of Public Works ;
Date :October 30, 1989
Subject :Greenfield Park Baseball Field Expansion
I have developed a rough estimate of the cost of extending the
right field line to 300 feet. The gain cost is the piping and
filling of the ditch adjacent to right field. I assumed a total
of 200 feet of ditch will need to be piped. The cost of the pipe,
fill, fence relocation and turf establishment is approximately
$26,300. The major cost is the fill required which accounts for
$17,400 of tThis tudy cost.
gThe estimate costs are based
on tis
the
only a preliminary
following assumptions.
Greenfield Ballfield Extension
Assume 200 feet of ditch to be piped
Assume 24 inch diameter pipe
Assume all embnkment needs to be brought in
Pipe - 200 feet @ $12/ft $ 2,400
Embankment-1450*$12 17,400
Seeding, Topsoil, etc-200*30*$.50 3,000
Fencing - Relocate & add'tl. 3,500
$26,300
