,-.
ROCKLAND PARK FOUNDATION
The Foundation was established in
1979 as a not-for-profit corporation to
benefit forest preserves, parks and rec-
reation in north central Illinois. The
Foundation can implement new and in-
novative projects that otherwise could
not be accomplished with public funds.
The Rockland Park Foundation is an IRS
501(c)(3) organization. The Foundation
has flexibility in acceptance and utiliza-
tion of certain types of gifts. If a person
wishes to give a gift through the Foun-
dation, call its Executive Director at
987-8865 for details and assistance.
GIFT RECOGNITIONS
Gifts are always recognized. Appro-
priate certificates, permanent plaques
and even naming a park or facility in
honor of the donor are various methods
that have been used.
Encouragement is given to those who
wish a personal involvement in the gift
process. Please call the Development
Officer for any assistance you might
need. Strict confidence will be main-
tained if that is the wish of the donor.
Your gifts are appreciated.
As stewards, the Park Board and staff
will insure that your gifts are well man-
aged and will be available for the enjoy-
ment of all.
12
Be a Park District Supporter —
pass this booklet on to others who
care — they might be able to use it.
Thanks to H. C. Johnson Press,
Alpine Paper Company and the
Sundstrand Corporation for their aid
and assistance in making this
Gifts Catalog possible.
