Frisbee Golf Course:
This is a new sport where the
Darticipant tosses a frisbee along a
:nurse much like a golf course. The
"hole" is an elevated chain basket
that catches the frisbee.
Participants try to beat par by
letting the frisbee in the basket in
the fewest number of throws.
Cost approximately $8,000.
Drinking Fountains:
th the increased use of our parks
for bicycling, jogging and roller
skating, drinking fountains are in
nand. Our current situation finds
em few and far between in most
areas.
Cost: Regular $400
Chilled $625
Trees give the shade, color and
dimension which make a park a
park. They add quiet tranquility to
the passive park spaces and provide
definition and beauty to active
spaces. New trees are needed at
many of our parks.
Cost ranges from $35 to $175.
Par Course:
A par course is a physical fitness
course which sets a par for an
individual as he runs from station to
station doing a variety of exercises
such as chin ups, leg raises and sit
ups. We believe par courses at
Chaparral, Eldorado, Vista del
Camino and Indian School Park
would be heavily used.
Cost: 9 station course $3,600 —
18 station course $7,200.
