Their roads are to be plowed and salted to <br />leave pavements bare. The City of Mounds View does not currently <br />follow this policy. The City feels that because of reduced <br />speeds on city streets, properly sanded occasional snow packs can <br />be tolerated. Obviously, the cost of a "bare pavement" policy is <br />significantly higher. <br />116.
