June 6, 1990
The Honorable Rudy Perpich
Governor
State of Minnesota
Room 130 State Capitol
St. Paul, MN 55155
Dear Governor Perpich:
cit
of
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
2401 HIGHWAY 10
MOUNDS VIEW, MINN. 55112
784-3055
FAX: 784-3482
On behalf of the City of Mounds View, I wish to invite you and Mrs. Perpich to come
and celebrate the dedication of Mounds View's new picnic shelter. This picnic shelter
is the result of the Celebrate MN grant project. The original structure was greatly
expanded with matching contributions by local organizations including the Lions and
Eagles Clubs.
The impetus of the Celebrate MN grant created the opportunity to construct this grand
picnic shelter facility complete with restrooms, kitchen and storage area.
The celebration will include a community potluck and dedication ceremony followed
by many activities.
The City of Mounds View would be honored by your attendance. Enclosed is a flyer
announcing the Celebrate MN events.
Please feel free to call me for additional information or to confirm your attendance.
My office telephone no. is 784-3055.
Sincerely,
Mary Saanon, Director
Parks, Recreation and Forestry
MS/SL
Enclosure
0 printed on recycled paper
