PRELIMINARY PARKLAND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />SILVER VIEW COAMUNrly PARK <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />MARCH, 1990 <br />FACILITY: <br />Park benches for pond/nature area. <br />PRIMARY ACTIVITY/FUNCTION: <br />To provide a resting place for trail hikers who wish to observe the nature <br />area. <br />PLAN DESCRIPTION: <br />It is recommended that park benches be placed throughout the park for <br />casual contemplation and observation enjoyment. <br />RECREATION CRITERIA: <br />Park benches in the pond/nature area must be placed in strategic areas <br />where hikers can rest and enjoy the natural habitat. Benches should not <br />be clustered, but should be spaced throughout the trail in distances of <br />approximately 1,000 feet. <br />GENERAL MAINTENANCE CRITERIA: <br />Benches are to be embedded in a concrete slab. <br />U <br />
