PRELIMINARY PARK AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />SILVER VIEW COMMUNITY PARK <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />MARCH, 1990 <br />FACILITY: <br />Picnic tables <br />PRIMARY ACTIVITY/FUNCTION: <br />To facilitate the picnic shelters. <br />PLAN DESCRIPTION: <br />Picnic tables provide a sitting facility for picnicking. <br />RECREATION CRITERIA: <br />Two picnic tables accessible to wheelchairs and two standard tables are <br />needed to utilize the picnic shelter to its greatest extent. <br />GENERAL MAINTENANCE CRITERIA: <br />Picnic tables ideally will be permanently embedded in concrete to prevent <br />them being moved. Also, the galvanized metal tables are a deterrent to <br />vandalism. <br />GENERAL DESIGN CRITERIA: <br />See descriptions. <br />43 <br />
