POSSIBLE GOALS FOR 1994
These are ideas that I found after reviewing minutes of 1993 as
possible goals for 1994. Please review these ideas that have
been discussed before in addition to sharing other goals that you
believe the Parks and Recreation Commission should work on during
this year, 1994.
`i. Construct an adventure golf course as a recreation revenue
producing facility.
Development plans for Knollwood Park.
0. Moving the compost out of Ardan Park.
V4• Development of Ardan Park as a passive nature park.
Possibilities of purchasing the properties bordering Ardan
Park to alleviate the drive-in and expand the park and storm
water runoff plana
Installation of indoor restroom facilities and new furnaces
to the four neighborhood park buildings to increase the use
of the buildings and alleviate the great need for community
use facilities.
Pursue the possibilities of using empty spaces in the City
for recreational and or community use ie. vacant Tom Thumb,
empty spaces in the strip malls, etc.
Opening the Woodcrest Park ice rink.
Expanding paved multi-purpose trails in the parks,
especially Greenfield, City Hall and Silver View Parks.
Install a bridge over the storm water ditch at Silver View
Park.
Pursue the possibilities of a bridge across Hwy 10
connecting Long Lake Road.
Develop trails, archery range and amenities at golf course
park.
