COW OF
"Quite Simply the Best"
April 20, 1994
Dear Track Coach:
Phone: (612) 784-3055
Fax: (612) 784-3462
I wish to call a meeting during the track season so that we can
.discuss a few issues that can be helpful for the program's
success. One issue that must be discussed is the condition of
track equipment and the need for future capital investments for
replacement of track equipment. Sunnyside School is in dire need
of replacement equipment. Their hurdles are broken down, and
they do not have adequately safe high jump mats. Starting blocks
do not adjust anymore. Sunnyside School has a distinct
disadvantage compared to other schools in the track program
simply because of the inadequate equipment. We need to rectify
this discrepancy.
This situation may occur at other schools during future years,
depending on the longevity of the equipment. Let's get together.
and discuss the options for this present problem and try to
foresee any additional problems that we can nip in the bud now
before they become a problem down the line.
The meeting is set for Wednesday, April 27 at 7:00 a.m. at Mounds
View City Hall, 2401 Hwy 10 (across from the Bel Rae Ballroom).
Please call me if you are unable to attend. I hope to see all of
you at this meeting.
Sincerely,
Mary Saarion, Director
Parks, Recreation & Forestry
cc Track Coaches
Parks & Recreation
Jerry Otto
School Principals
Department personnel
Plit117Ep Wi711
SUYNK 2401 Highway 10 • Mounds View, MN 55112-1499 -CD,
