B. Tournament must meet the following requirements: <br />1. All softball tournaments must be sanctioned MRPA/USSSA. <br />2. All softball tournaments must be umpired by certified <br />MRPA/USSSA umpries. <br />3. All participating tournament teams must be sanctioned <br />MRPA/USSSA teams. <br />C. Any tournament whose profit does not specifically go to <br />support a civic purpose or benefit the general citizenry <br />will be charged user fees: <br />1. $50.00 per day per field. <br />2. $100.00 clean-up/ damage deposit for the entire park, <br />plus use of bases and chalkier. Returned if everything <br />is left orderly and in good working condition. <br />3. $40.00 MRPA/USSSA tournament sanction fee if not <br />already sanctioned. Need proof if tournament is <br />sanctioned before the time of this application. <br />4. $50.00 deposit for keys checked out, refundable upon <br />key check-in. <br />5. Use of Silverview Picnic shelter - $2Q,nQ fnr <br />residents, & $50.00 for non-residents. (See Picnic <br />shelter Reservation Policy) <br />6. Food concession permit only is $25.00/tournament per <br />site. <br />7. $4.00 per bag of chalk. <br />8. $15.00 per hour for the use of the City Hall Field <br />Lights. <br />All equipment must be picked up at the maintenance <br />garage, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and <br />3:00 p.m. at a pre -arranged time by calling 784-3055. <br />All equipment must be returned the Monday following the <br />tournament. A late fee of $25.00/day will be charged <br />if returned later than Monday morning. If equipment is <br />damaged due to negligence, the tournament sponsor will <br />be held responsible for all damages. <br />D. Food and beverage permits must be applied for at least ten <br />days before the tournament and must be approved by the <br />Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry. The fee is <br />$25.00/tournament per site. <br />E. All user fees must be deposited with the City two weeks <br />before the tournament. <br />F. Individuals responsible for tournament MUST have in their <br />possession a signed, written use permit specifying which <br />fields will be used. <br />G. Games must not begin before 8:00 a.m., City Ordinance states <br />that City parks close at 10:00 p.m. <br />H. Per City Council action, a $5.00 fee must be charged for all <br />checks returned by the bank for any reason. All checks must <br />be accompanied by proper identification. <br />2 <br />
