APR 7 '95 10:28 FROM AM ENG TST ST PAUL TO 97843462 PAGE.002
AEI #95-1343 - Page 2
P td WFORMATI N
We understand the athletic field area east of the existing warming house at the park has
experienced irregular ground movements which has detrimental effects on the athletic activities.
We understand you would like to regrade the athletic field such, that it can be used for either
baseball or soccer purposes. The purpose of this geatechmW exploration and review is to
determine the reasons for the past ground movements, and evaluate futare performance and
options.
A second park improvement being considered is the reconswucdOn or surfacing of the parking
lot located to the southwest of the warming house. We assume the parldng lot will maintain the
same general surface elevation, location and size as the existing lot. We understand the lot is
primarily intended for automobile panting, and not intended to accommodate heavier truck
traffic.
The presented project information represents our undermading of the proposed consmicdon. This
information is au integral pant & ouz =gi=cring review_ It is imNrrant that you conma us if there
are a=ges from that desenbei so tbat we can evaluate whel—modificanons to our rwxmmc2d=on3
ars: appropriate.
SITE CONDMONS
Surface Qb§grLLtjow
The current athletic field area is generally level, although includes a rather large stockpile in the
central area.
The existing parking lot is gravel surfaced, and has noticeable rutting from vehicle traffic.
