31 <br />expected to report the same to Human Resources (or, if applicable, under any other <br />manner allowed by your CBA). <br /> <br />The City is required to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with <br />disabilities who are employees or applicants for employment, except when such <br />accommodation would cause an undue hardship. A person is considered to be “disabled” <br />is defined as any person who (1) has a physical, sensory or mental impairment which <br />materially limits one or more major life activities; (2) has a record of such an impairment; <br />or (3) is regarded as having such an impairment. What constitutes a “reasonable <br />accommodation”, if not defined by an applicable CBA, will vary depending upon the job, <br />the restriction, and the needs of the employer. <br /> <br />"Undue hardship" means significant difficulty or expense to the City in relationship to the <br />cost or difficulty of providing a specific accommodation and includes requests that are <br />unduly extensive, substantial, or disruptive, or those that would fundamentally alter the <br />nature or operation of the business. If you believe that a particular accommodation is <br />required, and that the City has improperly failed to provide the requested accommodation, <br />you are expected to report the same to Human Resources. You may also proceed in any <br />other manner allowed by your CBA; or, if not applicable, other law. <br /> <br />Individuals who remain dissatisfied with the outcome of his/her accommodation request <br />may discuss the request with the City Administrator who will make a final determination. <br /> <br />Section 3.07 Keys and Security <br /> <br />Security of City buildings, offices, vaults, computers and files is of such extreme <br />importance that special efforts must be made to protect this property from unauthorized <br />theft. <br /> <br />Keys for City facilities and vehicles are issued only to employees with an absolute need. <br />Those keys are the responsibility of the employee and should not be shared with anyone <br />except an immediate Supervisor or Department Head. If you misplace City keys, report <br />it immediately to the Public Works Administrative Assistant. <br /> <br />Computer passwords are in place for several computers and programs. Passwords <br />should not be shared.
